Career Preview is a chance to really see what LMC is about, how your major fits in at the firm, and begin a professional relationship with LMC employees invested in your personal and professional growth.
Legal Matters Consul’s Career Preview is a three-day experience designed for high-performing individuals who are in the freshman year of a 4-year degree program, the sophomore year of a five-year degree program, or are currently attending community college and meet the eligibility requirements. Career Preview is an excellent opportunity for you to confirm your college academic path and your career objectives, and to become better acquainted with Legal Matters Consul. As a participant in this three-day experience, you will work alongside your peers to learn about yourself, the world of professional services and our firm.

The event is open to all eligible candidates. At Legal Matters Consul, we aim to recruit the best, develop the best, reward the best and foster an environment where everyone’s best can thrive. For the Tax and Assurance experience, individuals will complete the 150-hour credit requirement and plan to pursue CPA eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
Preferred fields of study include: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology, Actuarial Science, Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Science, Economics and Finance & Technology, Engineering, Finance & Technology, Information Cybersecurity, Information Cybersecurity & Accounting, Information Technology & Accounting, Management Information Systems, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Management of Technology, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering

Interest deadline: To be considered for Career Preview submit your completed interest form by March 5, 2025. Career Preview interest forms will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Can you tell me about the cost, travel and logistics of this event?
Travel and accommodations will be paid for by LMC for Career Preview. Details pertaining to program logistics will be communicated within the program invitation.
What if I can’t attend the whole event?
Given the nature of this program, the event is available only to those students who can commit to attending the entire program. Please discuss any potential conflicts with your recruiter.
What if I’m not sure which career area I’m most interested in?
Tax and Assurance professionals help clients build trust and solve complex problems.
Advisory professionals help clients to make decisions with foresight and experience to achieve their business objectives.
