Aligned with Legal Matters Consul’s Network Disability Inclusion Strategy, we prioritize accessible and inclusive design in both our physical and digital environments. At the core of our commitment is advancing digital accessibility for all individuals. By establishing thorough global guidelines for adherence across our network, we strive to meet the standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Our aim is to ultimately create a seamless and inclusive user experience.

Measures to Support Accessibility

LMC takes the following measures to promote accessibility:

  • Committing to accessibility maturity as part of Legal Matters Consul’s Network Disability Inclusion Strategy
  • Our efforts include underpinning the POUR strategy in our digital platforms.
    • Perceivable Content: We strive to present all content on our website  in ways that can be perceived by various senses. This includes text alternatives for non-text content, captions for multimedia, and readable fonts.
    • Operable Interface: Our website can be navigated and operated using a keyboard or other input devices. We avoid elements that could cause seizures and provide clear navigation with a consistent layout.
    • Understandable Information: We use clear and straightforward language to convey information and provide clear instructions. Our forms are designed to be intuitive and easy to understand.
    • Robust Technology: We strive to use web technologies that are compatible with current and future  assistive technologies, ensuring our content remains accessible as technology evolves.

Downloads

We are actively working to support the documents featured on our websites, such as PDFs. While we strive to ensure accessibility for these documents, there may still be issues. If you encounter any challenges, please notify our team using the email address below.

For the best experience, we highly recommend downloading PDF documents (rather than reading them within your web browser). Additional information can be found on the Adobe Accessibility Website.

Third-Party Content

In addition to documents, some content on our websites, such as embedded videos or social media widgets, is provided by third parties. While we encourage these providers to follow accessibility best practices, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all such content. If you experience any accessibility issues with true third-party content, please let us know using the contact email provided.
